Unite The Right Shield Wall
On August 12, 2017, multiple white nationalist groups organized separate, but closely coordinated shield walls, which were responsible for the start and majority of the violence, and ultimately the shut down of the Unite The Right rally. The main shield wall contingent marched in together under the banner of the Nationalist Front. The shield wall consisted mainly of the following groups:
